We enjoyed this Chinese Buffet. They took care of us and the food was delicious. We came in and they showed us to our booth. They took our drink orders and of course it was time to help our selves to the all you can eat buffet.

The bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant which is pretty big and divided up into separate rooms.  By the time I git back to our booth, our 4 drinks were already there- which I like. I learned this from visiting buffets, always let them take your drink orders first before choosing buffet items because you might be eating your food for awhile before they bring your drinks.

The lunch buffet is about $7 to $8. Senior citizens can get a 10 percent discount if you are over 62. The dinner buffets are about $2 more.

Altogether, we enjoyed the buffet and would definitely consider visiting again when back in town. So, I would recommend this buffet to anyone.

First, let it be known that I'm from California and have pretty high standards for food quality and service, AND I am not a big fan of all-you-can-eat establishments, even in the Bay Area.  Also let it be known that I've been coming to the Delta area ever since I can remember to visit my grandparents during summers, so I am pretty familiar with what restaurants in the South are like. That being said, I can't give this place anything higher than 1 star, and that's being generous.

Hibachi is located in a strip mall on Highway 1 with ample parking. We came here with friends and relatives for a memorial service lunch. They were able to accommodate our whole group (40-50 people) in the large room to the right of the cashier. For our entire party, they had one waitress taking our drink orders. She wasn't very efficient. When she returned with a tray of drinks, she would stand at the front of the room and shout out drinks for people to claim. My 2 cousins, who live in the area, ended up helping take and serve drink orders as well as bus tables because it was too overwhelming for the one girl assigned to work our area. Really!.?  Since when do customers have to to the job of the waitstaff?!

If you are coming for QUANTITY, and quantity only, then this place is great. $7.99 for all you can eat on a Saturday afternoon. What a bargain!  Foods to choose from:
~The Fried Bar:  fried shrimp, fried corn fritters, fried okra, fried coconut shrimp, fried chicken, fried imported fish from Vietnam (seriously, when catfish is abundant in this area), everything fried.  Unfortunately none of them were very good.  Many lacked flavor or had overwhelmingly too much flavor, like the coconut shrimp.  If I had to eat one of the dishes off this bar, it would be the fried okra.  It was decent.
~The "Entree"/Chinese Bar: chow mein noodles, stir fried chicken with broccoli, stir fried beef, steamed broccoli, meatloaf, and more.  All of the "Chinese" stir fry dishes must've stir-fried in the same sweet sauce and sadly, the steamed broccoli was over salted, tasted like it'd been steamed in a vat of salt water.
~Salad Bar: looked decent, but didn't try...not everything looked very fresh
~Fruit/Jello Bar: Jello looked okay, but the fruit looked overly ripe or like it had been sitting out all day
~Sushi Bar: a variety of pre-made "sushi" (but really? sushi in the middle of the delta?)...skipped
~Hibachi Bar: where you could choose your meats and veggies and sauce and then have them stir-fry everything together for you (um...pass)
~"Random" Bar that had pizza (so sad and flavorless looking) and other miscellaneous foods
~Dessert Bar: a variety of desserts that didn't look appealing or appetizing
And the saddest part of all...the soft-serve ice cream machine.  Chocolate and Vanilla.  But it wasn't really ice cream.  It was more like flavored ice!

As I said, if you're looking for quantity over quality, then you'll probably be happy with the amount of food and variety that you can eat for such a cheap price.  But if you're looking for decent, edible foods, skip this place and try somewhere else where you'll be much happier.

My fiance and I were in there this past Friday( April 28, 2017) and we really enjoyed ourselves. That was my first time ever being there. The waitress was phenomenal! By me expecting, she accommodated me well. Wish I would have gotten her name.  The food was great. I will be coming again. Thanks for the great service and food.
